Skincare - it matters + Haircare

You may be wondering "why skincare"? 

Good quality skincare has been important to me since I was in my teen years. Like many teens I suffered from Acne, and started seeing a dermatologist for this when I was around 15. 

At the age of 17, I had a mole removed - it came back as a Melanoma. Clearly I was one of the lucky ones who found it early. 

BUT, the skin cancer scare did make me seriously start taking care of my skin from a sun perspective (I quickly lost that teenage attitude about sunscreen & tanning!). 

So I've made taking care of my skin a priority ever since and using good quality skincare is one of the ways I do this.

When I first joined Rodan + Fields, I used to think "it would be great if they came out with something for the scalp / hair". 

You see I've suffered Psoriasis on my scalp for over 20 years and need to be very careful about what shampoos & conditioners I use.

So I was very excited, when at my very first in-person Rodan + Fields convention in 2022 they launched a WHOLE NEW CATEGORY – HAIRCARE!!! 

You may be wondering, WHY would a skincare company launch into haircare? 

It's simple - these leading dermatologists know it all starts at the root! A healthy scalp leads to healthy hair.

And they partnered with celebrity hairstylist Bridget Brager to bring to life this latest innovation.

I partnered with Rodan + Fields in March 2018, after I tried the products & loved them. I was originally only planning to be a customer, but then I thought "why not?" I had nothing to loose by joining as a consultant, and my gut was telling me it was the right thing to do. 

I believed in the products, and I had  researched enough to satisfy myself that this was a legitimate business. As an added plus, I felt they were aligned with my own values.

I joined wanting to build a business and a team. I struggled.  The MLM model made me take a look inwards and decide what it meant to be true to myself. It finally accepted that I wasn't going to be a leader in this type of model. 

Then, on 1st September 2024, I stopped being a consultant and became an affiliate when R+F changed their model.
